The Mercy Urogynaecology team, supported by Mercy Health and colleagues, is proud to present an interactive Pelvic Floor Symposium on Saturday, 24 October 2026.
This meeting focuses on practical aspects of female pelvic floor medicine and surgery often underrepresented in traditional teaching programs. Emphasis is placed on interactive learning, case-based discussions, and open dialogue between faculty and delegates. Designed to be accessible and high-yield, this event addresses the growing need for practical urogynaecology education in the setting of rising costs and limited teaching opportunities.
On the Friday preceding the symposium, four half-day live surgical sessions will offer a limited number of delegates the opportunity to observe and discuss surgical techniques and perioperative decision-making. As places are limited and hospital credentialing is required, early registration is strongly encouraged.
This event is suitable for consultants, fellows, and trainees with an interest in female pelvic floor disorders, and is approved for RANZCOG CPD points.

4 sessions ONLY
An exciting opportunity to observe live pelvic floor surgeries, see first hand the techniques and discuss your variation of techniques with senior surgeons. Subject to availability (we will endeavor to book interesting cases), potential cases could include extra- or intra-peritoneal high uterosacral ligament suspension, fascia lata reinforced repairs, fascial sling, vaginally assisted laparoscopic sacrocolpopexy, colpocleisis, fistula repair, Manchester repair, highly modified culdoplasty or urethral diverticulectomy.
As we will have to limit observers to no more than 2 delegates per session and hospital credentialing will be required, interested parties are advised to book early.
Urogynaecology Symposium Agenda
Saturday 24 October 2026
This symposium brings together leading expert faculty for a full day of immersive, case-based learning at the forefront of female pelvic floor medicine and surgery. Spanning a full morning and afternoon program, sessions tackle the diagnostic dilemmas, investigative workup, surgical decision-making, and complication management that clinicians encounter in real practice - covering topics that are not commonly addressed in depth at traditional conferences.
With an emphasis on open dialogue, interactive discussion, and practical clinical application, this is a unique opportunity to engage with expert faculty and colleagues in a setting designed to challenge thinking, consolidate knowledge, and elevate everyday practice.
Morning tea, lunch, and afternoon tea are included throughout the day.
Meeting has been approved for RANZCOG CPD, Domains: EA: 3.00, PR:, OM: 3.00
